About me

I am currently on sabbatical for 2010 and am therefore unable to take bookings to see patients, however do contact me if you wish to discuss herbal medicine or for details of practising herbalists in the area.

I have a background in science with a BSc degree in Microbiology and Virology, and worked for over 25 years in the NHS as a Biomedical Scientist. In 2002 I gained a BSc in Phytotherapy (Herbal Medicine), which involved 4 years of medical and clinical training.

Drawing from my experience and training as a scientist, and on the tradition of Western Herbal Medicine as a herbalist has formed the style of my approach to herbal medicine.

I am currently registered as a non-practising member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists, and as such maintain continuing professional development and training.
